Lincoln Memorial University ("LMU," "we," "us," or "our") operates the LMU Golf Journal mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

• Account Information: Username, display name, password, and team affiliation (Men's or Women's golf team)
• Profile Information: Optional profile picture
• Journal Entries: Practice plans, goals, reflections, mindset notes, and photos you upload
• Interactions: Likes and comments you make on teammates' entries
• Device Information: Push notification tokens to deliver notifications to your device

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App's functionality
• Display your journal entries to your team members for accountability and support
• Send push notifications about new posts and daily reminders
• Enable team interaction through likes and comments
• Authenticate your identity and maintain account security

Information Sharing

Your information is shared in the following ways:

• Team Members: Your journal entries, profile picture, and display name are visible to members of your team (Men's or Women's)
• Team Administrators: Coaches and designated administrators can view all team content and manage user accounts
• Service Providers: We may share information with third-party services that help us operate the App (hosting, notifications)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. Journal entries are retained to maintain your history and team records. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

• Request deletion of your account and personal data
• Opt out of push notifications through your device settings
• Edit or delete your journal entries at any time

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by Lincoln Memorial University student-athletes. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
